Designed to be used with our High Flow Oil Cooler Kit, the Cool-Tek Remote Oil Thermostat is perfect if you live in an climate that occasionally experiences extreme cold, yet still would like the use of an oil cooler during the hot summer months.
An oil thermostat provides quick engine oil warm up in extreme cold climates, and assures cooling when needed.
The thermostat begins to activate between 180-190 degrees. The valve closes and forces the oil through the oil cooler coil. Safety features assure that there are no air pockets at any time.
